Central Pharmacy In-charge

• Leadership and Management:

  Supervise and provide direction to pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the pharmacy.

• Regulatory Compliance:

  Ensure that all pharmacy operations, including dispensing and inventory, comply with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.

• Medication Dispensing:

  Oversee the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, including verification of orders and quality assurance checks.

• Inventory Management:

  Monitor and manage medication inventory, ensuring proper storage, removing expired drugs, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.

• Patient and Staff Education:

  Provide educational services to patients, families, and healthcare providers on medication use and to pharmacy staff on best practices and new developments.

• Customer Service:

  Ensure a high level of customer service, handle and resolve customer complaints, and build strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers.

• Financial Oversight:

  Manage the financial performance of the pharmacy, including controlling costs and maintaining profitability.

• Quality Improvement:

  Implement policies and procedures for quality improvement, conducting audits to ensure adherence to standards and protocols.

• Record Keeping:

  Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure proper documentation for all pharmacy activities.
