Job Title: Chef de Partie (CDP) – Continental Cuisine Department: Kitchen Reports To: Sous Chef / Executive Chef Location: Hotel Alankar Private Limited - "Tiverton Bungalow" Job Type: Full-time ⸻ Job Summary: As a Chef de Partie for Continental cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes in line with the restaurant’s standards. You will lead and mentor junior kitchen staff, manage mise en place, and ensure efficient service in your section. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook Continental dishes with attention to detail and consistency. Supervise Commis Chefs and ensure proper training and delegation. Monitor and maintain quality, portion control, and presentation standards. Handle mise en place and ensure readiness of ingredients and equipment before service. Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards (HACCP). Collaborate with the Sous Chef in menu planning, specials, and new dish trials. Ensure effective stock control and minimal wastage in your section. Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely and smooth delivery of food. Assist in inventory, ordering, and receiving supplies when needed. ⸻ Skills and Requirements: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Continental cuisine in a hotel or high-end restaurant. Strong knowledge of Continental cooking techniques, plating styles, and ingredients. Leadership and organizational skills to manage junior staff and multitask. Good understanding of kitchen operations, cost control, and portioning. Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays. Excellent communication and time management skills. ⸻ Preferred Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management. Experience in international or fine-dining kitchens is a plus.
