CCTV Technician

As a Junior CCTV Technician, your role will involve assisting in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV surveillance systems under the guidance of senior technicians. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect in this position: **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in the installation and configuration of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related accessories. - Perform cabling, wiring, and connection testing for new installations. - Support senior technicians during site visits, maintenance, and troubleshooting. - Ensure proper alignment, positioning, and functioning of cameras. - Conduct basic repair and replacement of faulty cables or equipment. - Maintain installation records, checklists, and service reports. - Follow safety procedures and company standards during on-site work. - Provide basic customer support and coordinate with the operations team for project updates. **Qualifications Required:** - Education: ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related field. - Experience: 02 years (Freshers with basic CCTV knowledge may apply). **Technical Skills Required:** - Understanding of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR setup, and power supplies. - Basic knowledge of networking (IP cameras preferred). - Ability to use hand tools, cable testers, and measuring instruments. **Soft Skills Required:** - Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to follow technical instructions and safety protocols. **Additional Details:** This is a field-based role that may require frequent travel within city limits. You may need to work at heights and use ladders occasionally. There might be instances of overtime or weekend work during urgent installations or maintenance tasks. **Compensation & Benefits:** - Salary: 12,000 - 18,000 per month (based on experience and location). - Overtime allowance and travel reimbursement. - Training provided for new technicians. - Opportunity to grow into Senior Technician / Team Lead position.
