Job Description

CCTV Technician Job Title: CCTV Technician / CCTV Installer Department: Technical / Installation Location: Delhi NCR Experience Required: 1–3 years Industry Preference: Security Systems, Surveillance, Low-Voltage Installations Role Overview: We are looking for a knowledgeable CCTV Technician to install and maintain CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, access control devices, and related security solutions. The candidate must be proficient in cabling, camera mounting, configuration, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: Install and configure CCTV cameras (IP, Analog), NVR/DVR, and related equipment. Perform cable laying (CAT6, Coaxial), conduiting, and proper termination. Conduct camera alignment, focusing, and system optimization. Troubleshoot issues related to network, power, storage, and connectivity. Install and maintain access control systems, video door phones, and time attendance devices (if required). Ensure proper documentation and site reporting. Provide client training on system operation and mobile app viewing. Perform preventive maintenance and periodic system health checks. Skills & Qualifications: ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Networking, or related field. Strong understanding of IP networks, NVR/DVR, PoE switches, routers, and camera configuration. Knowledge of CCTV brands like Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, etc. Ability to diagnose hardware and network faults quickly. Good understanding of crimping, cabling, and tool usage. Basic knowledge of access control and biometric systems. Additional Requirements: Ability to work at heights and handle field installation tasks. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Readiness to travel for site installations. Team player with a problem-solving attitude.
