CCTV & Access Control System Technician

As a CCTV & Access Control System Installer, your role involves the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV surveillance systems and access control systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Your responsibilities include: - Installing, testing, and commissioning CCTV cameras (IP & analog), DVRs/NVRs, and access control systems. - Performing structured cabling, routing, and termination of network/data cables. - Configuring systems by setting up IP addresses, enabling remote viewing access, and integrating software. - Mounting and securing cameras, biometric devices, card readers, magnetic locks, and other security components. - Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and system layouts. - Conducting site surveys to determine installation requirements and proposing suitable system solutions. - Performing preventive and corrective maintenance, service calls, and system upgrades. - Training end-users on operating installed systems and providing support documentation. - Ensuring all installations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. - Coordinating with project managers, vendors, and clients for timely project completion.
