Category Manager / Sr. Category Manager Core Areas : Pricing, Merchandising, Analytics, Planning, Category Acquisition Retention, Brand Growth, Category Growth, Problem solving and stakeholder management Qualification : 4+ years of experience in category , with at least 2 years in category / growth Our Story SNITCH is India s fastest growing men s fashion D2C brand. We are in a fast fashion environment which needs dynamic category planning with JITT replenishments. Key Responsibilities : Strategic Growth Planning Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies to drive market share and profitability in the category Identify and capitalise on market trends, consumer insights, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions Collaborate with the category leadership to align growth initiatives with overall company goals Category Planning Sourcing Work closely with the Sourcing team to align growth initiatives with product assortment, launches, and merchandising strategies Develop a sourcing plan that ensures the timely and cost-effective acquisition of products in line with inventory and demand forecasts Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support the sourcing process, ensuring alignment with campaign timelines and brand goals Leverage insights from category planning and sourcing to drive targeted campaigns that reflect inventory priorities and product availability. Marketing Strategy and Execution Lead the development and execution of innovative marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement Work closely with the central marketing team to create integrated marketing plans that leverage various channels, including digital, social media, email, and events. Oversee merchandising, content creation, including product descriptions, promotional materials, and social media content. Data-Driven Decision Making Utilise data analytics to monitor category performance, customer behaviour, and campaign effectiveness Generate actionable insights from data to optimise marketing strategies and drive continuous improvement Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting strategies accordingly. Customer Focus Champion a customer-centric approach in all growth and marketing activities, ensuring alignment with customer needs and preferences Utilise customer feedback and insights to enhance the shopping experience and drive loyalty Develop and implement strategies to improve customer retention and lifetime value. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment Work closely with the buying team to ensure product assortment supports growth initiatives and marketing campaigns Coordinate with the central sales and merchandising teams to maximise promotional impact and sales effectiveness Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution of category strategies. Financial Management Oversee the marketing budget for the category, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and achievement of financial targets Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of growth and marketing initiatives Implement corrective actions to address any variances and optimize financial outcomes What We re Looking For Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. Experience in category growth and marketing Proven success in driving category growth and achieving financial targets in an ecommerce environment. Strong understanding of in-app merchandising and digital marketing strategies and tools. Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results. Deep understanding of category trends and consumer behaviour. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency in using marketing and analytics software
