Category Manager - Non-Food

As an experienced professional with 9-12 years of experience in the retail industry, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Defining MBQs and monitoring the topline and bottom-line of the business. - Ensuring stock availability and turnover, as well as overseeing Category Assortment Expansion. - Managing overall operations, including Buying & Merchandising, Vendor Management, Demand Planning, and Inventory Management. - Ensuring Range Planning, Promotion Management, Planogram, ABV/Bill penetration, and Vendor Fill rates. - Steering merchandising efforts in alignment with the business objectives. - Maintaining continuous communication with vendors and suppliers to leverage company schemes for better buying. - Controlling inventory by reducing slow-moving products and introducing fast-moving products. - Developing and implementing liquidation plans. - Demonstrating strength in National Sourcing and TOT Negotiation.
