Designation: Category Manager Fabricated Vessels Department: Procurement & Logistics Location - Bangalore Experience: Min 15 to 18 Years experience in Mechanical / EPC / Project Management Industry Qualification: Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in Engineering, with masters degree as added advantage Job Description Drive "RFQ to Purchase Request" Fabricated vessels , Valves , Pumps , Electrical Panel , Motors , Chillers , Special purpose machines etc within project budgetary impact. Sound knowledge on various Project related materials as used for EPC projects Capacity assessment of vendors continuous development plans for upgradation to meet the business needs Work with the Project Execution, Quality and Logistic team's to improve Quality, Delivery and Total cost of ownership (TCO). Establishing robust "Supplier footprint" and "Multi Souring" strategies for all direct commodities Ensuring good "Supplier Relationship Management" process along with Category buyers Drive cost, technology and value improvements with suppliers across the full supply chain. Perform quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers, monitoring their adherence to Quality, Delivery, TCO and Innovation performance metrics. Establish and implement strategies for negotiating supplier/commodity agreements as per latest commodity trends Prepare and lead the quarterly business review meeting with other departments as needed.
