Category Executive

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Category Executive will be responsible for the strategic development and management of our furniture category. This role will involve analyzing market trends, sourcing new products, optimizing product listings, and driving sales and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the furniture market and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

Catalogue Listings

Ensuring uniform and good quality listings across website and marketplace.

Optimize existing product listings for search and conversion, including product titles, descriptions, and images.

Analyze product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Work with the marketing team on promotional campaigns.

Category Strategy & Planning:

Develop and execute category strategies to achieve sales, margin, and inventory targets.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

Create and maintain a comprehensive category plan, including product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.

Product Sourcing & Management:

Identify new products and suppliers to expand the furniture category.

Manage product lifecycle, including new product introductions, product discontinuations, and inventory management.

SKILLSET:

Basic knowledge of Excel is must.

Ability to generate reports promptly

Preferred candidate profile; Willing to learn ad grow.
