Job Title: Carpentry, Furniture & Décor Supervisor (Residential Projects) Location: Goa Reporting to: Project Manager/Architect ⸻ Key Responsibilities: 1. On-Site Carpentry & Furniture Supervision: Oversee all carpentry and custom furniture work on-site for high-end residential projects. Ensure precision in joinery, woodwork, and furniture detailing as per design drawings. Coordinate with the architect and design team for on-site execution and finishing details. Conduct quality checks for finishes, joinery, and hardware fittings. 2. Soft Furnishings & Décor Coordination: Assist in the selection and installation of upholstery, curtains, rugs, and other soft furnishings. Work closely with the interior designer for final styling and placement of décor elements. Manage installation of curtains, upholstery, and decorative lighting as per design guidelines. 3. Quality Control & On-Site Detailing: Ensure high-quality finishes in upholstery, curtain stitching, and light fixtures. Oversee the installation of custom-designed chandeliers and other decorative lighting. Inspect and approve all materials before installation. 4. Team & Timeline Management: Supervise carpentry workers, upholsterers, and installation teams. Plan work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks. Handle site-related challenges and communicate with the design team for quick decisions. ⸻ Key Qualities to Look For: Strong background in carpentry and furniture work (6-8years of experience in the residential sector). Knowledge of soft furnishings, upholstery fabrics, and curtain stitching details. Good eye for detailing and finishing standards. Basic understanding of lighting placement and fixture installation. Excellent coordination and communication skills. Knowledge of materials and finishes suitable for coastal weather conditions (specific to Goa). ⸻ Additional Skills (Preferred): Basic knowledge of AutoCAD drawings or furniture details. Experience working with architectural or interior design firms. Familiarity with luxury and bespoke residential projects. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule: Morning shift Work Location: In person
