Job Description

Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & ServiceWelcome guests warmly and provide a seamless check-in and check-out experience. Assist guests with luggage, room orientation, local guidance, and property details. Ensure all guest requests (food, housekeeping, amenities) are handled promptly and politely. Maintain Raho service standards and uphold a professional, friendly approach at all times. Collect guest feedback and escalate issues immediately to the Operations Manager. Property Maintenance & UpkeepOversee daily cleaning, housekeeping standards, and hygiene of all rooms and common areas. Ensure functioning of electrical appliances, plumbing, lighting, geysers, and locks. Report maintenance issues quickly and coordinate with internal teams/vendors for repairs. Monitor cleanliness of outdoors: pathways, verandahs, landscape, sit-outs, pool areas (if applicable). Conduct daily walk-throughs and ensure property is guest-ready at all times. Inventory & SuppliesMaintain inventory of linens, toiletries, kitchen supplies, cleaning materials, and guest amenities. Update daily stock usage and request refills in advance. Prevent misuse and ensure all materials are accounted for. Safety & SecurityEnsure safety protocols, fire safety, emergency procedures, and first-aid kits are in place. Maintain a register of visitors, vendors, and guest check-ins/outs. Safeguard property assets, equipment, and keys. Kitchen Support (If applicable to the property)Assist in preparing basic breakfast or beverages as per Raho’s menu guidelines. Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining space. Ensure stock of groceries is maintained as per property occupancy. Coordination & ReportingSubmit daily reports on occupancy, housekeeping, maintenance updates, and guest issues. Coordinate with the Operations, Housekeeping, and Projects teams for smooth functioning. Follow SOPs and ensure all property rules and guidelines are implemented. Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 1–3 years of experience in hospitality, homestays, hotels, or guesthouse operations. Strong communication skills (Kannada/Hindi). Good understanding of guest handling, housekeeping, and property management. Basic knowledge of maintenance issues (electrical, plumbing, appliances). Polite, trustworthy, well-groomed, and service-oriented personality. Ability to work independently and handle pressure during peak occupancy. Willingness to stay on-site and manage operations round the clock.
