Developing and implementing an HSE Policy by providing achievable objectives and targets. Support the management in the introduction and enforcement of occupational safety, health, and environment standards. 2. Work and coordinate with the Safety, Health and Environment Committee to set up safety procedures and ensuring it is totally integrated within the operational systems. 3. Overall planning of occupational health, safety, and environment activities. 4. Lead ISO14001 and ISO45001 system to ensure the compliance with ISO requirement and can be demonstrated. ISO14001 ISO45001 5. Provide support for EHS programs, energy savings, sustainability, and continuous performance improvement EHS 6. Ensure the fulfillment of EHS procedures/Co-operate Directives and provide suggestion for continuous improvement. 7. Regularly prepare and conduct the training of Fire Drill, First Aid, Safety Awareness, etc. 8. Communicate to all department leaders the content of the Health, Safety, Environmental and its requirements. 9. Organize team to identify any potential risks which may cause accident, to obstruct hazardous activities which expose to such risks and notify to both individuals and managers. 10. Define PPE and occupational health physical examination program. Ensure all PPEs are in right condition, sufficient for employees. PPE management 11. Record accidents and follow up/track the preventive countermeasure accordingly. Coordinate the accident investigation, report accidents and follow-up on legal processes and recommendations arising there from. Lead the timely completion of Accident and Near-miss investigations. Promote a positive EHS culture at all levels of the organization, able to influence and motivate team in continuous EHS improvement in overall EHS. 12. Issue, develop and maintain safety regulations. In liaison with line manager to ensure these regulations and combined in the work instruction and respected by employee 13. Communicate with local government which related to EHS and pass the information to plant manager and China EHS leader. 14. Manager/supervise the environmental protection treatment system and make sure the discharge meets the requirement. 15. Prepare, collate EHS data, input, update and maintain records as required, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions. 16. Drive EHS compliance through audits, process/equipment review, management of change program and proactive risk reduction projects. 17. Demonstrate strong leadership as a member of site management team 18. Strong knowledge if Indian and local regulation & contractor a 19. Strong knowledge of OSHA standard & HIRA & Aspect impact & management of change 20. Strong knowledge of Machine guarding, LOTO, Work permit, safety culture 21. Hands-on experience in handling pollution control facilities like ETP, STP etc. 22. Hands on experience in handling hazardous process & its EHS aspects like chemical handling, shot blasting etc. 23. Must have experience to deal with regulatory officials like DISH, Pollution control board office etc. 1. Skill Proficiency in spoken and written English Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good on Leadership Good teamwork capability Good analysis capability Comprehensive capability and knowledge of EHS management End to end EHS management Working beyond boundaries in the interest of organization Ethical behavior Experience: Relevant work experience 10-15 +yearsteam leader / team manager experience at least 3+years Qualification: Bachelors degree in (Mechanical, Electrical, chemical engineering, Safety engineering). with 10+ year experience or Diploma in ((Mechanical, Electrical, chemical engineering, Safety engineering). With 15 + years of experience Advanced Diploma in Industrial safety approved by State government of tamilnadu , Certified lead auditor in ISO45001
