Role overview

NXTHUB Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is recruiting Academic & Career Counsellors to deliver high-quality guidance and support to students and prospective learners for our education platforms, Collegese.com and Siddham.tech. The incumbent will advise students on academic pathways and career options, manage counsellor-led outreach, and support the admissions lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one-to-one academic and career counselling sessions for students and parents.
• Assess student profiles, interests, and goals; recommend appropriate courses and career pathways.
• Perform regular tele-counselling, scheduled follow-ups, and prospective student engagement to support conversions.
• Manage and update student records, interactions and outcomes in the CRM accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate with sales, operations and academic teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and admissions process.
• Prepare and present clear guidance material and reports when required.
• Maintain professional standards of confidentiality, accuracy and ethical counselling practice.

Essential qualifications & skills

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; Master’s or relevant certification in counselling, psychology, education or career guidance is advantageous.
• Prior experience (minimum 1 year preferred) in student counselling, admissions, academic advisory or similar roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students and families.
• Comfortable working with targets and maintaining accurate CRM records.
• Good organisational skills, attention to detail and a problem-solving approach.
• Proficiency with MS Office / Google Workspace; experience with CRM tools preferred.

Compensation & benefits

• Monthly salary range: ₹14,000 – ₹24,000 (based on experience and role fit).
