Camunda Java Spring Boot Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot and Camunda BPM. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable backend systems using Java SpringBoot and implementing complex business process workflows using Camunda BPM. You will work closely with client and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot

- Develop and manage BPM workflows using Camunda

- Securely Integrate external systems and APIs with BPMN workflows

- Work with Client/Product Owner to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and performance optimization

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production and development environments

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed features and processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot

- Minimum 3 years of experience working with Camunda BPM

- Strong understanding of BPMN 2.0, DMN, and workflow orchestration

- Good understanding of business process automation, event-driven architecture, and SOA

- Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts, data structures and algorithms, data modeling

- Strong Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).

- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems

- Strong experience working with Database (e.g. MySQL/Postgre SQL) and NoSQL Databases(e.g. MongoDB)

- Good hands-on understanding of Git and version control systems (e.g. github, gitlab, bitbucket, etc)

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus

- Strong problem solving, design thinking, debugging and analytical skills

- Should be able to work as an individual contributor as well as in a Team

- Should adhere to coding best practices

- Experience working in Agile mode with Scrum/Kanban and should be familiar with Agile tools like JIRA etc

- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP

Preferred Certifications:

- Camunda Certified Professional - Developer

- Oracle Certified Professional JAVA Certification
