🚢 Hiring: Vessel Technical Manager (VTM) 📍 Location: Campbell Shipping, Mumbai Job Description: We are looking for an experienced maritime professional to join our Technical Department as a Vessel Technical Manager (VTM) . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the assigned vessels are operated safely, efficiently, and economically in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Ensure vessels are operated in compliance with company procedures and international regulations. Oversee the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and ensure all maintenance is carried out as per requirements. Maintain all vessel certificates and statutory documentation up to date. Monitor unscheduled repairs and report to the Line Manager. Coordinate with the Purchase Department to ensure timely supply of spares and consumables. Monitor vessel condition through inspections and ensure all deficiencies are closed promptly. Conduct vessel inspections (minimum once per year) and prepare detailed inspection reports. Prepare, supervise, and follow up on dry-docking activities, including documentation and specification preparation. Prepare and manage vessel budgets, ensuring compliance with approved technical budgets. Provide periodic technical, operational, and financial reports to vessel owners. Monitor vessel machinery performance and address potential off-hire risks. Ensure compliance with Flag State, Class, national, and international regulations. Stay updated on new technical developments and implement improvements where applicable. Perform additional tasks and special projects assigned by Management. Experience Required: Must be a Sailing Chief Engineer with experience on Bulk Carriers .
