Job Description

Role & responsibilities Issue Work Orders & ensure that all maintenance is carried out on time and to approved standards. - Establishment and development of continuing airworthiness policy, including the approval of the aircraft Maintenance Programmes required by CAR M.A.302. - Analysis of the effectiveness of the Aircraft Maintenance Programme as required by CAR M.A.708(b) & Appendix 1 to AMC M.A.302. - Ensuring that necessary corrective/ improvement action is taken as a follow up to the audit/ inspection by the Quality Department under Quality Manager. - Ensuring that owner /operators technical records are kept as required by CAR M.A.305. - Ensuring the validity of ARC. - Establishing work planning section and ensuring implementation and follow up. - Establishing technical section and ensuring implementation and follow up. - Ensuring that modifications and repairs (changes) are carried out to an approved standard - Review of Airworthiness Directive status and ensure embodiment. - Reporting any occurrences to DGCA and the aircraft manufacturers. - Ensuring that all defects discovered during scheduled maintenance or reported are corrected by an appropriately approved maintenance organisation. - Ensuring that the mass and balance statement reflects the current status of the aircraft. - Ensuring that all continuing airworthiness documentation is used properly and accordingly. - Monitoring of all aircraft log books. - Ensure that all required maintenance data to manage the Continuing Airworthiness functions are available and revision status is up to date, at all times. - Following up of the maintenance activity till its completion and certification including issue of Certificate of Release to Service.
