Join Qualcomm India and become part of the multimedia systems team that innovates to bring the higher performance and quality on mobile, IoTand AR/VR platforms.The Camera Systems team creates embedded imaging solutions for Snapdragon chipsets, leveraging dedicated hardware, multi-core processors, DSP, and GPU cores to provide state-of-the-art photographs, video recordings, photo-realistic video see-through (for immersive mixed reality), as well as scene data for image understanding and object detection.

Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities may include a subset of the following:

• Research and development for next generation camera features and image quality improvement for Mixed-realityplatforms& AI-camera/video capabilities on mobile & smart glasses

• Prototype solutions on mobile/XR platforms for proof of concept and demonstration purposes
• Developing and/or Optimizing image processing and computer vision algorithms for HW acceleration
• Design of camera systems that balance power, memory, silicon area to maximize imaging performance

Minimumqualifications:

• Bachelors + 3yrs relevant experience, Master's + 2yrs relevant experience or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and/or closely related field
• Background in digital signal & image processing, image quality tuning
• Background in CMOS sensors and algorithms for sensor and optics processing
• Background in multi-camera system design including at least one of following subjects: temporal synchronization, image fusion, depth estimation, dual-camera calibration
• Working knowledge with C, C++, Matlab, Python

Preferred qualifications:

• 5+ years working experience in signal/image processing and/or computer vision
• Experience in XRrelated imaging/perception problems, and/or automotive perception is desired
• Working knowledge & experience with modern machine learning techniques
• Academic publications in image processing & computer vision research at top conferences and journals
