Calibration Executive

Job description:

The Calibration Executive is responsible for ensuring all instruments and measuring equipment are calibrated as per schedule and meet the required accuracy standards. This role involves maintaining calibration records, coordinating with external calibration agencies, and ensuring compliance with ISO/ NABL/ regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calibration Activities:
• Plan and execute calibration schedules for all instruments, gauges, and equipment.
• Perform in-house calibration of measuring instruments as per procedures.
• Coordinate with external calibration service providers for equipment not calibrated internally.
• Documentation & Records:
• Maintain calibration certificates, records, and traceability documentation.
• Prepare and update the master list of instruments with calibration due dates.
• Ensure proper labeling and identification of calibrated instruments.
• Compliance & Standards:
• Ensure calibration procedures comply with requirements.
• Participate in internal and external audits and provide required calibration data.
• Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions related to calibration findings.
• Technical Support:
• Investigate and analyze any out-of-tolerance instruments.
• Provide technical support to production, maintenance, and quality teams regarding measurement accuracy.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Review calibration methods and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain awareness of the latest standards and technologies in calibration and metrology.

Qualification:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
• 3 + years of experience in calibration or instrumentation (preferably in a NABL-accredited lab or manufacturing setup).
• Knowledge of calibration standards (ISO 17025, NABL guidelines).
• Proficiency in using standard calibration tools and documentation systems.
