Job Description

Creation of CNC programs for turning and milling operation

Creation of CNC turning programs directly on the machine using conversational control

Selection of appropriate machining strategies and cutting tools.

Communication with cutting tool application engineers.

Creation and maintenance of tool data.

Responsibility for machine setup and work holding arrangements.

Collision checks during the manufacturing process.

Continuous optimization and further development of production processes

Close collaboration with machine operators on the shopfloor.

Ensuring timely availability of NC programs.

Acting as the main contact for all production staff.
