CAD Drafter

As a CAD Drafter, you will play a vital role in supporting engineering projects by utilizing your skills in AutoCAD and drafting in Isometric planes. Your responsibilities will include: - Executing drafting work in AutoCAD to meet high-quality standards and efficiency metrics - Maintaining professional and positive relationships with team members - Effectively utilizing your workday, completing assigned tasks, and seeking additional ways to contribute - Performing drawing maintenance, such as updates, revisions, and development of as-built record documents In this role, you will be accountable for: - Demonstrating productivity by maintaining quality and efficiency on various project tasks as defined by common internal reporting metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Contributing to the team through communication and work ethic by maintaining professional, positive relationships and effectively communicating with team members and other company personnel You will be measured against targets including task efficiency, task quality, rework utilization, and core skills competency. To be successful in this position, you must meet the following qualifications: - 3+ years of experience using AutoCAD 2009 or newer on a daily basis - Associate Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design - Ability to draft in Isometric planes while visualizing mechanical piping - Experience using LISP routines, template files, and block attributes - Proficiency in using Microsoft Office 2010 or newer tools including Excel and Outlook Additionally, your knowledge of equipment and software should include expertise in AUTOCAD.
