Job title: CAD/BIM Manager Environment D&E (US) Qualification & Experience: Diploma in Engineering/ BE Civil from a recognized University. Minimum 12+ years experience as CAD/ BIM Modeler. Role Description : This role is part of Arcadis Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis offices globally. Effectively participates in team working to achieve goals and objectives: enables others to achieve goals and objectives Role accountabilities: -Lead role as a CAD expert for US and Canada Environment team, driving standardization, automation, and skill development (including around new technologies/ efficient work processes). -Owning CAD Technical Delivery and Project Management responsibilities. -Overseeing the work and/or development of multiple colleagues working on complex projects across multiple disciplines -Taking responsibility for technical quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes/ modifications. -Reviewing work and drive the culture of checking and accountability in the team, including interdisciplinary checks. -Ensure the schedule and quality requirements. -Checking completed drawings to ensure accuracy / standards / quality against Arcadis / Client standards. As an originator: -Excellent command over AutoCAD and preparation of CAD drawings (General Arrangement and Detailed drawings). -Preparing Base maps and Contour maps based on the subsurface and Analytical outcomes. -Preparing remediation plans & details. -Working in collaboration with other design disciplines. -Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design. -High level of communication and good writing skills. -Leveraging digital tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation. -Manage technical client relationships. -Develop CAD standards and project workflow criteria for projects by carrying out appropriate research. -Engaging in the creative and innovative development of works and continuous improvement of systems. -Ensuring that reusable data is collated, stored, and shared with teams. -Leading the development of team training plans and make a major contribution to upskilling and training. -Compliance of Arcadis business management system. -Maintaining ongoing communication with relevant Project Leaders/Team Leaders, and clients as and when required, to ensure -effective communications on matters relevant to the project. -Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time -Software Expectations: -Excellent knowledge and experience in AutoCAD -Decent knowledge of BIM tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, ACC etc. will be preferable. -Knowledge of alternative tools, as applicable from time to time. -Knowledge of LCNC developments, Dynamo etc. -General understanding of interoperability between software used to accomplish own discipline tasks. -Experience in international projects (USA/ Canada/ UK/ Middle East regions) would be preferable. -Prior knowledge of US Environmental related Standards would be a definite advantage. -A strong, self-motivated and assertive person capable of working under pressure and agility to adapt with changing business requirements. -Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. -Excellent Communication Skill
