Job Description

Job Summary: The Cab Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers to their destinations. The role requires excellent driving skills, knowledge of routes and traffic rules, and a focus on customer satisfaction and punctuality. Key Responsibilities: Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations safely and on time. Follow assigned routes or use GPS navigation to determine the best routes. Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle (interior and exterior). Assist passengers with luggage and ensure their comfort during travel. Collect fares or manage digital payment transactions as per company policy. Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company regulations. Report accidents, vehicle issues, or delays to the supervisor immediately. Conduct routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, lights, brakes) before and after each trip. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption when required. Skills & Qualifications: Valid driver’s license (LMV or commercial license as required). Proven driving experience with a clean driving record. Good knowledge of local routes, landmarks, and traffic conditions. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Punctual, reliable, and well-presented. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus. Work Environment: Mostly field-based, driving within city limits or long-distance routes. May require flexible working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
