Description
Role Overview: You will be responsible for procuring service parts from external Global Suppliers, Ford plants, and dealers. Your role will involve scheduling releases on suppliers, following up for delivery promises, liaising with transporters for shipment delays, and coordinating with various teams for prioritization of receipts and resolving any shipment discrepancies. Additionally, you will be required to respond to customer inquiries about part availability dates, coordinate with suppliers for engineering level changes, and educate them on the importance of Q1 rating to improve delivery performance. Key Responsibilities: - Procure service parts from external Global Suppliers, Ford plants, and dealers - Schedule releases on suppliers and follow up for delivery promises - Liaise with transporters and traffic team for shipment delays - Coordinate with various teams for prioritization of receipts and resolving shipment discrepancies - Respond to customer inquiries about part availability dates - Coordinate with suppliers for engineering level changes - Educate suppliers on the importance of Q1 rating to improve delivery performance - Make premium freight decisions based on part criticality - Respond to queries from various teams including Supplier, Purchase, Inventory, Central Forecasting, and Supply chain management - Control the availability of specific range of parts in European Source locations to meet objectives - Work with suppliers to ensure feedback of delivery information via SAP-SNC system - Establish and monitor supplier recovery programmes to meet Supply Chain objectives Qualifications: - B.E with 3 to 5 years of experience in SCM, Inventory, Forecasting & Logistics - Good Communication Skills - Good Analytical Skills Role Overview: You will be responsible for procuring service parts from external Global Suppliers, Ford plants, and dealers.
