Job Description

As a Supply Chain Business Operations Analyst 4 at HP in Chennai, you will be responsible for a broad range of logistics, procurement, and order management related processes in both SAP S4 and non-SAP environments. Your key responsibilities will include: - Owning pricing analysis and management, inventory analysis, and other operational activities related to Services Supply Chain - Providing innovative solutions to operational issues from both SAP and non-SAP environments, focusing on logistics, procurement, and order management supply chain business processes - Driving/supporting key Supply Chain Improvement projects by challenging the status quo and working across diverse supply chain models/teams/regions - Exercising independent judgment to determine appropriate solutions/actions, following established guidelines, interpreting policies, and evaluating unique circumstances - Coordinating with outsourced partners and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of operations - Acting as a Subject Matter Expert in SAP skills, particularly in material master and Idocs, and reengineering business processes using best-of-breed technologies - Producing reports, analyzing data to develop trends, articulating findings to management, and identifying opportunities for improvements and automation - Researching and analyzing priority projects to enable digital advancement, communicating requirements and guidelines to regional and global teams and IT, and providing training and mentorship to junior staff members Qualifications required for this role include: - First level university degree (Engineering preferred) - Minimum 17-20 years of experience in the supply chain function - Experience in more than one supply chain function with a primary focus on Master data, Logistics, Procurement, Order Management, and Sales - Minimum 6-8 years of experience in various SAP S4 iDOC messages related to Forward Logistics, Reverse Logistics, procurement, and order management - Solid understanding of SAP and ability to focus on day-to-day operations and support in Logistics, Procurement, and Order management processes - Thorough knowledge of EDIs, various B2B platforms, and strong Microsoft Office skills - Strong influencing skills, relationship management skills, and project management skills Please note that this job description provides a general overview of the role and the level of work expected.
