Business Intelligence Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading BI design and development activities using MicroStrategy as the primary tool. Your role will involve participating in the full software development life cycle, developing optimized semantic models, metrics, and complex reports, and collaborating with business analysts to improve key business metrics and customer experience. Additionally, you will lead a team of BI engineers, review their work, and provide guidance. Key Responsibilities: - Be an expert in MicroStrategy, with advanced experience in BI reporting design and development - Identify risks, recommend risk mitigation plans, and review designs, code, and testing with the product team - Develop logical and physical data models documenting source data from multiple sources - Lead the team of BI engineers, translate designed solutions to them, and manage client communications and deliverables - Share knowledge and experience within the team and other groups in the organization Qualifications Required: - 6 to 8 years of experience in BI engineering - Strong SQL and RDBMS skills - Experience with MicroStrategy version 10.x development solutions - Ability to translate business requirements into data analysis and reporting solutions - MicroStrategy Certified Developer is a plus - Experience in MicroStrategy SDK or Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate is a plus - Knowledge of IBI WebFocus reporting tool is an added advantage (Note: Additional details about the company were not present in the provided job description),
