Job Description

The Business Head will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of Morepen Labs. This senior leadership position requires a dynamic and strategic individual with a proven track record in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, particularly in the API sector. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall sales and marketing strategy aligned with the company's business goals and objectives. Provide visionary leadership to the sales and marketing teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer-centricity. Sales Management: Oversee the sales team responsible for promoting and selling API products to pharmaceutical companies, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded. Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company's market presence. Marketing Strategy: Lead the development of comprehensive marketing plans for API products, including market research, product positioning, and branding strategies. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Act as a primary point of contact for major clients, addressing concerns and fostering long-term partnerships. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential challenges and opportunities. Utilize market intelligence to guide decision-making and adjust strategies as needed. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with research and development, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs teams to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment of commercial strategies with product development and regulatory requirements. Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage budgets related to sales and marketing activities. Monitor financial performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization. Compliance: Ensure that all sales and marketing activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Knowledge / Experience / Skills Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). Proven experience in senior sales and marketing roles within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on API. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset. In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
