Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Business Finance Manager to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, working capital, and day-to-day finance operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing cross-functional stakeholders and teams, with a strong preference for those from the Agri or allied industries. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead financial planning cycles, prepare detailed forecasts, and support business decisions through insightful analysis. Annual Operating Plan (AOP): Collaborate with operations and leadership to build and monitor AOP and drive strategic financial goals. Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive monthly budgeting, monitor variances (Budget vs Actuals vs Forecast), and take corrective actions. Working Capital Management: Manage receivables, payables, and inventory to optimize cash flows. Cash Flow Management: Prepare and monitor cash flow statements; ensure liquidity and working capital efficiency. ROI & Cost Analysis: Evaluate Return on Investment (ROI) for projects and implement cost control initiatives. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals; ensure timely delivery of insights and reports. Operational Collaboration: Work closely with operations for inputs, data alignment, and driving financial discipline across business units. Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including vendors, auditors, and senior leadership. Inventory & Collections: Monitor inventory levels, drive collection strategies, and improve credit cycles. Vendor Advances & Payables: Manage vendor payments and advance controls in alignment with contractual and operational commitments. Schemes & Discounts: Evaluate financial implications of business schemes and discounts; ensure alignment with profitability goals. Daily Issue Resolution: Provide quick financial insights and support to resolve daily operational challenges. Qualifications & Skills: MBA in Finance / CA preferred. 8–9 years of relevant experience in business finance, preferably in Agri or similar industries Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments High proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Show more Show less
