Job Description – Business Development Manager (BDM)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Business Development Manager (BDM) to represent Dr Shajahan Aboobakar in all training and consultancy engagements. The BDM will handle client communication, manage ongoing projects, and ensure seamless delivery while maintaining a high level of professionalism as Dr Shajahan Aboobakar representative.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

- Serve as the primary contact for all training and consultancy clients.

- Represent Shajahan professionally in all client meetings and communications.

- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based client relationships.

- Understand client needs and ensure timely support and service delivery.

Project & Delivery Coordination

- Manage end-to-end training and consulting assignments.

- Coordinate schedules, session plans, materials, and logistics.

- Track project progress and ensure commitments are met.

- Ensure a smooth experience for clients throughout the engagement.

Business Development & Growth

- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services.

- Support new business generation through presentations, proposals, and follow-ups.

- Maintain strong pipeline discipline and convert prospects into clients.

- Assist in brand growth and expansion of the consulting business.

Communication & Representation

- Communicate clearly and confidently on behalf of Shajahan.

- Draft proposals, agreements, and official communication as required.

- Attend meetings virtually or in person, acting as Shajahan’s representative.

- Escalate critical issues or updates promptly.

Operational & Administrative Support

- Maintain client records, CRM entries, and documentation.

- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on client handling, leads, and project status.

- Coordinate with vendors, trainers, and internal teams as needed.

Qualifications & Skills Required

- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) – mandatory.

- 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, Client Servicing, or Account Management.

- Strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation abilities.

- Strong follow-up discipline, multitasking ability, and problem-solving skills.

- Professional presence and capability to represent a senior consultant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
