Role Overview: Tooltech Global Engineering is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to spearhead business development efforts, client engagement, and bid management in the Rail/Metro sectors. The ideal candidate will be an experienced business development leader with an extensive network, strong client relationship skills, and a track record of securing projects through tenders, partnerships, and strategic alliances. This role is pivotal in driving the companys expansion in India by identifying new opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and leading high-value proposals. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Client Engagement Consultant Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities, with a primary focus on Rail/Metro and Infrastructure projects in India. Develop and execute a business growth strategy by analyzing market trends, identifying potential clients, and leveraging competitive intelligence. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, joint venture (JV) partners, and industry stakeholders to drive long-term partnerships. Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction. Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to position Tooltech Global Engineering as a preferred partner. Develop and present company capabilities to potential clients, consultants, and project stakeholders. Bring an established industry network to the company, facilitating strategic partnerships and alliances. Work closely with senior management to refine and implement business development strategies that align with corporate goals. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to strengthen brand positioning and business outreach. Bid & Proposal Management Lead bid qualification (Go/No-Go assessment) and strategy development for tendering processes. Oversee end-to-end preparation of high-quality proposals, EOIs, and tenders, ensuring compliance with technical, financial, and legal requirements. Collaborate with internal departments (technical, finance, legal, HR) and external consultants for seamless proposal development and project execution. Manage virtual bid teams involving partners from multiple geographies. Drive contract negotiations and ensure competitive positioning in tenders. Project Coordination & Compliance Support project initiation, ensuring a smooth transition from business development to execution teams. Conduct cost evaluations, risk assessments, and mitigation planning for new projects. Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and government regulations throughout the bidding and execution processes. Liaise with regulatory bodies and government departments for project approvals and documentation. Exceptional Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage and influence senior clients, partners, and regulatory bodies. Presentation & Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex solutions in a compelling manner. Strategic Thinking: Experience in formulating and executing business growth strategies.
