Business Development Manager (BDM)

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

Identify and acquire new clients for recruitment and staffing services.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, references, and market research.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close business deals.
Develop sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.

Client Relationship Management

Maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
Understand client hiring needs and collaborate with the recruitment team to deliver suitable profiles.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely communication and service excellence.

Coordination & Strategy

Work closely with internal recruiters to ensure seamless coordination and delivery.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry insights to identify opportunities.
Prepare business proposals, sales reports, and forecasting documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree/MBA preferred.
3–7 years of experience in
business development within recruitment, HR consulting, or staffing agencies
.
Strong understanding of recruitment processes, hiring cycles, and talent markets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, or applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
