Job Description

Role & responsibilities Business Development Business inquiry generation, sending quotes for the received inquiry, converting the inquiry to order, and follow-ups with production/ plant for order dispatch. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their requirements, addressing concerns, and providing exceptional customer service. Identify and prioritize potential clients within the steel manufacturing sector through market research, cold calling, networking, and other lead generation strategies. Customer Satisfaction & Payment collection Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction. Ensure timely collections. Analysis and Co-ordination Work closely with the marketing, production, and logistics teams to coordinate sales efforts, ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise. Co-ordinate efforts with Sales team and other departments with Sales & Quality team. Analyze the territory/markets potential, track sales and order status. Update the management about customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services. Preferred candidate profile • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or related field. • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong networking and relationship building abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Knowledge of the Gujarat steel market and local industry trends is preferred.
