Job Description

Role & responsibilities

CASA acquisition (Current Account and Savings Account), achieving sales targets, and building client relationships

Preferred candidate profile

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Acquisition:

    Proactively acquire new current and savings accounts for the bank through field sales, cold calling, referrals, and leads provided by the bank. This involves targeting individuals, professionals, MSMEs, and small business owners.
  • Target Achievement:

    Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (both in numbers and value) for CASA products.
  • Lead Generation:

    Generate leads through various activities such as market research, cold calling, roadshows, canopy activities, and database calling.
  • Relationship Management:

    Cultivate and maintain strong, lasting relationships with both new and existing clients to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Cross-Selling:

    Promote and cross-sell other banking products such as Fixed Deposits (FD), Recurring Deposits (RD), insurance, mutual funds, and loans to the acquired customer base.
  • Documentation and Compliance:

    Complete all account opening application forms accurately, obtain necessary KYC (Know Your Customer) documents, and ensure strict adherence to all regulatory guidelines (RBI norms, AML) and internal bank policies.
  • Customer Service:

    Deliver excellent customer service and provide after-sales support to ensure a seamless customer experience and high retention rates.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Conduct in-depth market analysis and monitor competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge and identify new business opportunities.
  • Reporting:

    Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the bank's CRM system and submit timely MIS (Management Information System) reports.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of CASA and retail banking products.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, typically requiring prior experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) industry or field sales.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
  • Local market knowledge and networking skills are often preferred.
