We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our business growth efforts in the MEP design consultancy sector. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients and partners, and collaborate with our technical teams to deliver innovative design solutions. *Key Responsibilities* 1. *Business Development*: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the MEP design consultancy sector, including tenders, proposals, and client pitches. 2. *Client Relationship Management*: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners. 3. *Market Research and Analysis*: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors, and analyze data to inform business development strategies. 4. *Collaboration with Technical Teams*: Work closely with our technical teams to understand their capabilities, develop tailored solutions for clients, and ensure successful project delivery. 5. *Proposal and Tender Management*: Lead the development of proposals and tenders, including writing, editing, and coordinating with team members. 6. *Networking and Representation*: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote our services and build relationships. 7. *Performance Monitoring and Reporting*: Track and report on business development performance, including sales metrics, client engagement, and market trends. *Requirements* 1. *Qualifications*: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. 2. *Experience*: Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the MEP design consultancy or a related industry. 3. *Skills*: - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. - Strong business development and sales skills, with a proven track record of securing new business. - Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them effectively to clients. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office. 4. *Personal Attributes*: - Results-driven and motivated, with a strong desire to succeed. - Collaborative and team-oriented, with excellent relationship-building skills. - Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
