Job Description

The business development manager is in charge of developing business solutions. The main goal is to generate more revenue for the company. They will manage client accounts and come up with new sales ideas. This includes new sales strategies, sales pitches, and business plans.
Business Development Manager Duties and Responsibilities Brainstorming with business development team to create new project strategiesIdentifying sales and services that would appeal to new clientsManaging company and client expectationsReviewing timeframes and budgetsCreating sales pitchesExecuting sales objectivesManaging client accountsFinding and following new sales leadsArranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clientsAttending networking eventsNegotiating sales contractsPreparing sales contracts; following company rules and guidelinesBuilding trust and long-term relationships with clients/customersManaging records of sales, revenue, and other important dataMaking professional decisions in a fast-paced environmentCultivating positive interactions and relationships with sales representatives, team leaders and managers, and executives to evaluate sales strategy and resultsMotivating team members to exceed expected goalsDeveloping ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyaltyResearching market and industry trendsBusiness Development Manager Requirements and Qualifications Goal-oriented, organized team playerEncouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and leadEager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territoriesAble to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelySelf-motivated and self-directedExperienced at compiling and following strict budgetsExperienced at preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projectsComfortable in both a leadership and team-player roleCreative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challengeThree to five years of previous experience in sales, management, customer service, finance, administration, or related fieldDemonstrated and proven sales resultsProficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)Fluent communication in person, on the phone, and in emailAbide by all non-compete/solicit agreementsPreferably someone having a proven track record in Business Development, Sales/Pre-Sales with prior experience of B2B Software Products/Services Sales in a similar company/relevant industry; Masters/Bachelor degree in business administration, sales, management or related field
