As regulatory requirements intensify and fraud detection becomes more crucial than ever, we empower businesses with instant document verification solutions that scale. We're in growth mode, and we're looking for a Business Development Manager to drive our revenue engine and make Gridlines the go-to platform for banks, fintechs, NBFCs, and MFIs. What You'll Do Your mission is simple: close deals and drive revenue . But getting there takes hustle, strategy, and sharp execution. You’ll be expected to: · Own the full sales cycle – from prospecting to closure, including lead generation, client presentations, product demos, negotiations, and contract signings. · Identify high-impact opportunities with Banks, Fintechs, NBFCs, MFIs, and BFSI clients, and create tailored pitches aligned to their needs. · Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads using a consultative sales approach. · Engage C-level executives , procurement heads, and product/technology teams to drive buying decisions. · Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure client needs are met and feedback loops are tight. · Achieve and exceed revenue targets with a mindset of winning in a competitive landscape. · Provide regular updates on funnel status, market feedback, and win/loss insights to leadership. What You Bring · 3–8 years of B2B sales experience , with a strong record of consistently exceeding targets. · Proven ability to sell to Banks, Fintechs, NBFCs, MFIs , and across BFSI segments. · Experience in SaaS sales , preferably in the Fintech or Regtech space. · Strong understanding of compliance, KYC, document verification, and regulatory workflows. · A strategic thinker who can identify new revenue streams and build account-level strategies. · Excellent relationship management and communication skills – especially with CXOs and decision-makers. · Highly driven, self-motivated , and thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure startup environment. · Willingness to travel (as required).
