JOB opening for Business Development Manager at Kirloskar Oil Engines for Power generation Business Unit JOB summery- Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive HHP sales growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and MEPs Provide techno-commercial solutions, aligning product specifications with customer needs. Utilize technical expertise and align project execution Team on Customer requirements. Analyze competitor offerings and position products effectively. Manage stakeholder collaboration, ensuring seamless project execution and customer satisfaction - Proven Experience in Sales & Marketing JOB Responsibilities: 1. Product Knowledge Strong understanding of KOELs product portfolio and competitive offerings. Ability to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of KOEL products compared to competitors. 2. Technical Skills Technically proficient with a solid understanding of product specifications and applications. Ability to provide solutions on AutoCAD, space planning, noise considerations, installation, and commissioning. 3. Commercial Skills Ability to develop technical proposals aligned with customer needs. Strong understanding of solution selling and expertise in proposing quotations based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). 4. Stakeholder Management Ability to work closely with consultants, MEPs, and customers, ensuring effective pre- and post-tender discussions. Proficiency in communicating techno-commercial solutions and influencing customer decisions on product specifications and sizing. 5. Market Research & Analysis Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends. Analyze market conditions to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning. 6. Partnership Development Establish strategic partnerships to enhance business growth and market reach. Collaborate with partners to develop and implement joint business strategies. 7. Sales & Revenue Growth Develop and manage a sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Work closely with the sales team to optimize lead generation and conversion rates. 8. Reporting & Analysis Prepare regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and outcomes. Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of strategies and make necessary adjustments. 9. Project Management - Ensuring & managing Project time, cost & quality.
