Business Development Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in the Freight Forwarding industry, ensuring regular bookings from them. Additionally, you will address customer complaints, cross-sell additional products and services, specialize in key focus verticals, conduct market research, and demonstrate leadership and management skills. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through periodic visits - Address customer complaints and provide support in issue resolution - Cross-sell additional products and services to existing customers - Specialize in key focus verticals such as Pharma, Perishable, Automotive, and Luxury Brands - Conduct market research and gather market intelligence - Demonstrate leadership and management skills in a managerial position - Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn in a changing business environment - Maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced work atmosphere - Utilize knowledge of Word and Excel, general freight forwarding terms and standards, Indian Customs Regulations, and Tariff Schedule - Have basic knowledge of accounting functions and information retrieval - Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in business development in Freight Forwarding - Good analytical background - Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure - Structured and systematic working style - B.
