Currently we are looking for a Professional Candidate who suits the "Business Development

Manager- Freight Forwarding" position .

Position : Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager Business Development

Area : Freight Forwarding & CHA (Ocean/Air/Customs/Road)

Educational Qualification : Minimum a Graduate

Experience : 5-10 years in Sales in Freight Forwarding (Ocean/Air/Customs/Road)

Salary Negotiable

Job Description:

(a) Generate Sales leads for Freight Forwarding & CHA business (Ocean/Air/Customs/Road) and

create a healthy sales pipeline for the Branch.

(b) Target large corporate accounts.

(c) Develop nomination business through leads and tapping overseas offices /agents.

(d) Visiting the major customers for the branch and continuous follow-up to secure business.

(e) Responsible for data collection related to proper credit assessment of the Customers.

(f) Responsible for the collection of the payment from the customers for the sales undertaken.

(g) Meet all budgeted sales and profit goals.

(h) Support in joint sales calls/canvassing activities and the customer retention activities.

(i) Develop good relationships with customers, agencies and trade and industrial associations.

(j) Networking with prospective clients, generating business from the new and existing accounts

and achieving profitability / increased sales growth for the Branch.

(k) Work closely with the product teams for business development, market treads etc.

(l) Overseeing the movement of clients’ goods and ensuring that they are picked up, transported

and delivered on time to their satisfaction.
