About The Opportunity
We are hiring an on-site Business Development Manager to lead new business acquisition, close strategic deals, and expand enterprise and merchant relationships across India. This role will own end-to-end sales motions — prospecting, pipeline development, negotiations, and deal closure — while partnering with product and operations to accelerate adoption.Role & Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end B2B sales for fintech products: identify prospects, qualify leads, and convert opportunities to revenue.
- Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline using CRM; forecast monthly and quarterly revenue accurately.
- Develop and execute territory and account plans targeting banks, merchants, aggregators, and enterprise customers.
- Lead commercial negotiations, structure proposals, and close contracts while protecting margins and ensuring compliance.
- Collaborate with product, onboarding, and operations to ensure smooth integrations, KYC, and go-live for new customers.
- Represent the company at industry events, drive channel/partner relationships, and identify strategic growth opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years of proven B2B sales experience in fintech, payments, or financial SaaS—demonstrable track record of closing deals.
- Experience selling to merchants, payment service providers, banks, or large enterprises in India.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with experience managing commercial contracts and pricing.
- Familiarity with payments lifecycle: onboarding, KYC, gateway integrations, settlements, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to build and manage pipelines using CRM and deliver against sales targets.
- Comfortable working on-site across Indian locations and traveling to customer sites as required.
Preferred
- Experience working with, or integrating, payment platforms such as Razorpay, PayU, Stripe, or PSPs.
- Prior exposure to channel/partner development, marketplace integrations, or enterprise partnerships.
