Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our direct channel efforts in the life insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a passion for driving growth and building relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement business development strategies for the direct channel in the life insurance sector.
Identify and engage potential clients to drive sales growth and expand market presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and stakeholders.
Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for senior management.

Skills and Qualifications

3-10 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in life insurance or financial services.
Strong understanding of life insurance products and the regulatory environment in India.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and partners.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify market opportunities and challenges.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
