Role: Business Development Manager Location: Chennai (Full-time, On-site) Role Overview We are seeking a Business Development Manager who will serve as a strategic interface between our clients and technical team. This individual will lead business acquisition, manage client relationships, facilitate technical delivery coordination, and take an active role in engineering training and outreach. The role also includes bringing in new clients and projects to help scale the business. Key Responsibilities Build strong and sustainable relationships with B2B clients in India and overseas Identify and pursue new business opportunities and project leads Understand project scopes, interpret client requirements, and propose solutions Liaise with technical and project teams to align resources and timelines Deliver online and offline lectures, workshops, and webinars on engineering subjects Drive business development efforts via LinkedIn, email campaigns, and networking Support tender documentation and proposal creation Assist in brand building, including webinars, case studies, and portfolio development Track leads, sales funnel, and project conversion metrics Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical preferred) 2–5 years of experience in business development or technical sales Strong understanding of engineering services, especially Piping & FEA Excellent written and verbal communication skills Hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas or Infrastructure sector Experience conducting trainings or academic/industry sessions is a plus CRM knowledge and proposal writing skills are an added advantage Desirable Qualities Strategic thinker with execution capability Technically inclined but commercially aware Passionate about engineering education and client success Self-starter who thrives in a startup-style work environment Growth Opportunities at DANLIN ENGINEERS Become a key member in scaling a high-potential engineering consultancy Exposure to global clients and multi-disciplinary projects Leadership opportunities in business expansion, training programs, and team building If you’re ready to engineer impact through strategy, client success, and knowledge sharing, join us at DANLIN ENGINEERS.
