Business Development Manager

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business development executives to drive high performance. Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across diverse market segments. Conduct client meetings, including technical discussions to understand their web hosting needs. Present and demonstrate our hosting solutions to clients with clarity and confidence. Work closely with internal technical teams to customize hosting solutions as per client requirements. Track team performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in sales processes. Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies. Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and strategic insights to senior leadership. Use CRM and other sales tools effectively for pipeline management and client communication. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in web hosting or IT services. Proven experience in managing and leading sales teams. Strong technical understanding of web hosting solutions (Shared, VPS, Dedicated, Cloud, etc.). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot). Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
