Role Overview: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of subscription-based Business Intelligence tools . This position requires expertise in consultative sales, a solid understanding of BI tools, and the ability to engage with senior decision-makers. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, closing deals, and expanding our presence in India. Key Responsibilities: Sales Target Achievement: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and annual revenue goals through strategic sales efforts. Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients, using a targeted and methodical approach to prospecting and client engagement. Consultative Sales: Understand client needs and challenges, and effectively demonstrate how BI tools solve business problems through impactful presentations and discussions. Client Research: Conduct detailed research on potential clients to identify opportunities for selling BI solutions. Relationship Building: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, ensuring a high client retention rate. Strategic Market Development: Identify trends, market demands, and opportunities for growth in the adoption of BI tools. Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including product and research teams, to align offerings with client needs. Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM systems like Salesforce or similar tools. Skills & Experience Required: Proven Sales Success: 46 years of experience in B2B sales, specifically selling Business Intelligence tools or data analytics software. Technical Familiarity: A strong understanding of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView , or similar platforms, and their application in solving business challenges. Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior executives effectively. Data-Driven Mindset: The ability to understand and communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences. Strategic Thinking: Proven expertise in developing and executing sales strategies for BI or data-driven solutions. Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. Preferred: Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and knowledge of the Indian market dynamics. Why Join Us?
