Business Development Manager (BDM)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities - *Lead Generation*: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and other lead-generation strategies. - *Client Relationship Management*: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure long-term partnerships. - *Sales Strategy*: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence. - *Market Analysis*: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform business strategies. - *Proposal Development*: Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pitches to prospective clients. - *Collaboration*: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align business development efforts with company goals. - *Reporting*: Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market insights to senior management. - *Networking*: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand visibility. Qualifications - *Education*: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred but not required). - *Experience*: Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in any industry. Skills - Strong negotiation and closing skills. - Verbal and written communication skills. - Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite. - Ability to analyze market trends and data. - Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
