The Opportunity

Marconix Sales Solutions, the exclusive Sales and Marketing Partner for VAJRA Rock Breakers (a Yantralive Company), is seeking a high-energy, field-focused BDM. Your mission is to establish and manage the exclusive distributor network for the VAJRA Rock Breakers range across Odisha’s high-potential quarrying, mining, and infrastructure markets.

Core Objective

To aggressively appoint, onboard, and manage a high-quality distributor network while driving primary and secondary sales volume of VAJRA Rock Breakers in the Odisha territory.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Distributor Appointment: Identify, qualify, and appoint new exclusive distributors/dealers in the assigned micro-markets (districts) based on VAJRA’s required profile (financial stability, infrastructure, market reach).

2. Distributor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring distributors comply with the required minimum stock levels for breakers and genuine spares.

3. Joint Field Work (JFW): Spend 80% of time in the field, conducting joint sales calls with distributor teams to target end-users (quarry owners, stone crushers, large contractors, fleet operators).

4. Market Development: Execute frequent on-site product demonstrations (Demos/Maha-Demos) at quarry and construction sites to create direct end-user demand and brand awareness.

5. Sales and Targets: Drive primary sales from company to distributor and supervise secondary sales from distributor to end-user.

6. Reporting: Submit daily activity reports (DSR), manage lead pipelines, and provide market intelligence on competitor activities and pricing.

Performance Indicators

· Network: Achieve the target of Distributors Appointed & Active Distributors.

· Sales: Achieve the monthly primary sales targets.

· Activity: Conduct Joint Distributor/Customer Site Visits and site activations per month.

· Stock: Ensure all appointed distributors maintain the mandatory level of Inventory.

Required Profile

· Experience: 2-3 years of field sales experience in Heavy Equipment, Construction Machinery, Industrial Spares, Earthmoving Attachments, or related Capital Goods.

· Education: Graduate/Diploma in Engineering/Management preferred.

· Skills: Strong negotiation skills, proficiency in local language (Hindi/Chhattisgarhi is mandatory), and a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

· Mindset: Highly motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with a high-intensity, field-based role

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,716.72 - ₹30,314.14 per month
