Job Description: Business Development Manager- Product Engineering Services

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 5 to 6 years in Business Development or Account Management within Product Engineering, Embedded Systems, Hardware–Software Product Development, or Technology Consulting.

Salary Budget: 16 Lakh CTC PA

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Product Engineering Services division. The role requires a mix of technology insight, consultative selling, and strategic relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in Product Engineering, Embedded Systems, and IoT-based product development.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and technology partners these includes Space, Aerospace, Defense, Automotive & Manufacturing clients.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and delivery teams to align OSL’s capabilities in hardware–software co-design, embedded systems, and build-to-spec projects with client requirements.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and commercial models that address client needs.
  • Conduct detailed market research to track emerging trends in product design, embedded systems, and smart product development.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and contract closure. • Maintain accurate forecasts, sales pipelines, and performance reports for management review.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen brand visibility and generate leads.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.

An MBA in Sales or Marketing will be an advantage.

Experience: 5 to 6 years in Business Development or Account Management within Product Engineering, Embedded Systems, Hardware–Software Product Development, or Technology Consulting. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets, closing enterprise-level deals, and managing long-term customer relationships in the technology services space.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with senior level stakeholders.

Work Ethic: Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

Mobility: Willingness to travel for customer meetings, business development, and events as required. Key Competencies •
