We are looking for someone with a deep-rooted love for art and culture, and the passion to make a difference in the lives of artists and artisans by empowering them with technology.


Salary: Rs. 40-50K (based on experience and role fit)

What you will work on

Business Development Associate

This is a high-ownership, high-growth role for someone who enjoys design, understands the built environment, and wants to build a new vertical from the ground up.


1. Architect & Designer Outreach

  • Build and manage a targeted list of top architectural and interior design firms across key cities (Gurgaon, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad).
  • Conduct outreach via email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings.
  • Pitch MeMeraki’s capabilities: fine art, installations, murals, customised décor, craft-led products, and The Kunj ecosystem.

2. Run BD Like a Tech/SaaS Funnel

  • Use CRM tools to create a structured pipeline (lead → meeting → requirement → proposal → closure → repeat orders).
  • Set up automated follow-ups and drip conversations (CRM, WhatsApp Business API, email sequences).
  • Create playbooks for lead qualification, requirement gathering, and objections handling.

3. Project Requirement Management

  • Collect detailed briefs from architects/designers (styles, budgets, sizes, timelines, material preferences).
  • Work with MeMeraki’s curation and production teams to translate briefs into moodboards, proposals, and costings.
  • Coordinate logistics, samples, catalogues, and digital resources.

4. Build Relationships & Network in the Design Community

  • Attend industry events, studio visits, design fairs, architect meet-ups, and ID networking evenings.
  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships with principals, senior designers, and procurement heads.

5. Market Intelligence

  • Track trends in luxury interiors, upcoming residential projects, hospitality chains, and developer pipelines.
  • Understand design styles, materiality, textures, space planning, and how our craft-led pieces integrate.

6. Content & Tech Collaboration

  • Work with the tech team to refine catalogues, configurators, and internal dashboards based on architect needs.
  • Suggest improvements to our digital catalogue, pricing tools, and proposal templates.

7. Revenue Ownership

  • Maintain month-on-month sales targets for the architect channel.
  • Track conversion metrics, repeat revenues, and pipeline health.


Must-Have

  • 1-2 years of experience in

    architecture firms, interior design studios, luxury décor brands, material libraries, or B2B BD

    roles.
  • Strong understanding of

    design vocabulary

    : colour palettes, materials, spatial aesthetics.
  • Ability to run BD in a

    structured, tech-enabled way

    .
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable meeting 8–10 architects a week and managing a busy pipeline.
  • Entrepreneurial with initiative and drive to have ownership on all tasks
  • A passion to spread the ‘Idea of India’ globally and in India to make a difference in the lives of artists and artisans
  • Some experience in design (Canva, Photoshop)
  • Available immediately

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with

    B2B SaaS sales, CRM management, or structured outbound sales

    .
  • Exposure to luxury residential/hospitality design.
  • A personal interest in craft, art, or design is a big plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/ Interior Design or arts or design
