What You’ll Do

As a Business Development Intern at TechLeap Academy, your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying potential leads — individuals or organizations (students, colleges, training partners, referral sources) — and reaching out to them to onboard them into our courses.
  • Assisting the BD/Sales team in follow-ups, maintaining CRM or tracker sheets, and updating lead status.
  • Supporting planning and execution of outreach campaigns, promotional events, webinars or information sessions for prospective learners.
  • Engaging with prospective learners to understand their needs and explaining TechLeap’s course offerings and value proposition.
  • Gathering feedback from leads/participants and sharing insights with the team for improving outreach strategies.
  • Collaborating with marketing or content teams (if needed) to coordinate promotion materials, communication, or presentations.
  • Meeting predefined performance targets (e.g. number of qualified leads, conversions, outreach calls/emails) during the internship period.
What We’re Looking For
  • Students or recent graduates (any discipline), or candidates eager for fresh-industry exposure.
  • Strong communication skills — verbal and written. Comfortable reaching out, presenting, and following up.
  • Good interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with prospective learners and partners.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, disciplined, and keen to learn.
  • Basic familiarity with MS Excel or Google Sheets and ability to maintain data/tracker spreadsheets.
  • Interest in education, upskilling, EdTech, or startup / growth-oriented environments.
