Job Title: Business Development Executive / Business Development Intern

Business Development Executive/Intern

This role involves end-to-end business development activities—from outreach and communication for freshers to strategic planning and team guidance for experienced candidates.

The position may also include travelling for in-person client meetings when required.

Key Responsibilities (For All Levels):

  • Generate and qualify leads through LinkedIn, cold calling, referrals, and other channels
  • Conduct daily outreach through calls, WhatsApp, messages, and email
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with potential clients
  • Follow up with prospects to move them through the sales pipeline
  • Maintain client databases, track conversations, and update CRM tools
  • Communicate effectively with prospects through calls and online meetings
  • Participate in client meetings, both virtual and in-person when required
  • Support daily business development operations and client acquisition efforts

Additional Responsibilities for Experienced Candidates (4–7 years):

  • Develop and execute business development strategies for lead generation and pipeline growth
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and decision-makers
  • Guide and mentor interns/junior BD team members
  • Create structured outreach plans, calling scripts, and engagement sequences
  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance of BD activities and conversion rates
  • Optimize lead funnels, follow-up processes, and meeting scheduling systems
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to align BD efforts with business goals

Skills & Qualifications

For Freshers (BBA/MBA Preferred):

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in cold calling and client handling
  • Basic understanding of lead generation and sales processes
  • Ability to schedule and manage appointments
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Good coordination and follow-up discipline

For Experienced Candidates (4–7 years):

  • Proven experience in business development, lead generation, and client acquisition
  • Strong cold-calling, prospecting, and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with CRM tools and BD tracking systems
  • Ability to guide interns/junior team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic and target-driven mindset with strong closing abilities

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related fields

(BBA/MBA preferred for freshers)
