Business Development Executive
to lead global business development for a next-generation
mathematical optimization platform
designed for enterprise-scale across logistics, automotive, manufacturing, supply chain, and energy sectors.This role is responsible for building global licensing pipelines, shaping multi-year deployment deals, and positioning the platform as a
high-performance alternative to classical optimization solvers

, combined with strong strategic commercial leadership.Key Responsibilities
- Build global enterprise/academic licensing opportunities/pipeline for QpiAI-Opt.
- Drive enterprise deployment cycles with multi-year licensing deals.
- Position QpiAI Opt as a high-performance alternative to classical solvers.
- Drive global GTM and commercialization; engage CXOs, R&D heads, innovation leaders.
- Translate customer pain points into optimization solution architectures and RoIs.
- Lead strategic negotiations and hand over mature opportunities to sales for closure.
- Execute QpiAI-aligned market intelligence, BD analytics, and CRM protocols.
- Build alliances with consulting firms, system integrators, and global innovation hubs.
- Coordinate with product and engineering teams for technical solution alignment.
Required Experience
- 15–20+ years in optimization, OR products, AI/ML solutions, or scientific software BD.
- Experience with licensing of industrial digital platforms and optimization solvers.
- Ability to map industrial/scientific/business scenarios to mathematical models and optimization/simulation solutions on QpiAI-Opt solver. Understanding of routing, planning, allocation, and scheduling optimization workflows.
- Technology-business leadership: digital transformation, decision science, decision intelligence, mathematical optimization, operations research, and scenario modeling/simulation; operational excellence, cost optimization, resource optimization.
- Domain experience: logistics, transportation, manufacturing, supply chain, ports, financial services, energy, utilities, biosciences, pharmaceuticals, materials, and sustainability.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
